Book One: The Past
SYNOPSIS: The Four Winds are not legends. They are real, and this is
their story.
SYNOPSIS: Ian is a young Knight-in-Training at the Fortress as Ca-dalen
when it is attacked. Instead of obeying orders to evacuate, he stays
behind to fight, but quickly learns the enemy cannot be killed...because
they are already dead.
SYNOPSIS: Believing the Weapons Master dead, Caspian leads Ian out
of the Ekolkla Passages, but in a battle where the dead walk, can anyone
really die?
SYNOPSIS: Having no recollection of the earlier events of the night,
Talon manages to get on the bad side of Ravar, a young, diguised Ayenroki,
by stealing his talisman. A chase ensues, with an unexpected ending.
SYNOPSIS: The Shadows, an ancient, nigh-unkillable menance, have found
a way to track Talon and Ravar, and are closing in fast. Escape demands
taking a foolish chance, and then paying the consequences.
SYNOPSIS: The Zen'na Nashka, the Hunters of Men, have captured
Siveki Kinsmen-Ornadayo, and accuse him of the crime of murder. Siveki
claims innocence, but unfortunately, doesn't have a choice except to
admit guilt. Meanwhile, Vrin and Talon make their way to the city of
Grondaga, but along the way Vrin falls ill with infection from a previous
wound.
SYNOPSIS: Talon is kidnapped by an Ayenroki Triad, and Ravar has no
choice but to chase after him. Vrin tries her best to keep up, unleashing
a side of herself she wishes she did not have.
